Our Board

Colours of a Kind NPC was founded by Christiane Wacker in 2019, as part of a vision for a social business that supports and empowers women in South Africa at every step of the process.

Christiane Wacker and Studio Production Manager, Stella le Riche, are responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation, the training programmes and the CMT studio that provides job opportunities for our graduates.

The NPC is supported by fellow Directors Jacqui Barhouch and Jakob Schlichtig who bring years of experience in the non-profit sector and insight into the South African context to the board.

Christiane Wacker

Founder and Director
Munich / Cape Town

Hailing from Munich, Christiane Wacker is a natural-born connector. She’s lived, studied, travelled and worked all over the world and has been visiting South Africa with her family since she was young. Through Colours of a Kind non-profit company, Christiane is channelling her long-held connection to the African continent.

Much like the circular economy of the social enterprises she advises through her consultancy, this is full circle for Christiane: linking for-profit with not-for-profit; sharing her financial and social business experience; understanding the symbiotic roles of start-ups, philanthropists and investors; and combining her professional, academic and practical knowledge to create a platform for meaningful collaboration and measurable impact.
